Chelsea Lately

OK people so my lovely girlfriend Erica and I are big Chelsea Lately Fans. For those of you who do not watch the show Weekdays at 11pm on E! (which by the way should be illegal). The show is hosted by Chelsea Handler (stand-up Comic) and she has a panel of comics at a table and they bash and joke all about the ridiculous things going on with the people in the entertainment industry. To watch the show is to be friends and hangout with these comics. It is just that kind of fun loving environment. I you have not seen it you must tune in or at least set the DVR to record it and then watch it when you can.

New Info about Jeff Dunham

Hey guys so a few weeks ago I just saw Jeff Dunham at the New York State Fair. He was awesome. He has a ton of new material and it just rocks. I know that there is a lot of skits that people play to death and some of you may feel that you have seen and heard all his stuff. If that is how you feel then think again. Be sure to go and see him if you can. (That was my third time seeing him live, thank you, thank you very much.)

Lachlan Patterson...

I just watched a great stand-up comic named Lachlan Patterson. You have to Youtube him. He has a great skit on how video games are not really made for women and what they would be like if they were. This guy is all around great and has a fantastic delivery.

So as the wonderful Miss Erica has said we love Stand-up. There is a certain something that makes a comic great and I think that we could all agree that knowing what to make fun of is a major part of the profession. I am a Human Development Undergraduate student and so I know political correctness at it's finest. I have a real appreciation for those of us who can both acknowledge and show us how ridiculous some of it can be, but at the same time also give us the opportunity to really sit back and laugh. I feel that it is important for us to do this because stand-up is more then just entertainment. It is about giving ourselves the long overdue opportunity to enjoy our differences in a healthy, relaxing, and playful environment.

First post, ever!

Ok, so this is the first time that I have ever been on a blog and made a post! Whoo-hoo! I'm moving right along as a digital immigrant! Ok, so down to business...
I love comics! My boyfriend, Teddy and I are constantly on the look out for new comics and we are so excited when we see new ones! One of my favorite unheard of comics is Rob Magnotti, a guy that we saw at Dangerfield's Comedy Club in Manhattan, NY. He does great impressions, make sure to check him out through the link that I have provided.
